
The story of a working class Catholic family from Belfast, spanning a period of 100 years from the late 19th century until the present. A War of Independence, two World Wars, the Spanish Civil War and ‘the Troubles’ all impact on the lives of the widowed Mrs Burns and her family.
Seamus Finnegan has written over 30 stage plays . They have been produced in London, Israel and the USA. Past productions at Old Red Lion include I am of Ireland, Murder in Bridgeport, Diaspora Jigs, Soldiers.
