Christopher is a COO of a big oil company and Joyce is a commissioned photographer working in the fashion industry. They both are now divorced after being married for 20 years. Chris is coming over to get some papers signed regarding their mutually owned properties and how to divide them. Joyce, who is currently living in their mutually owned house, is expecting him, but wants to get rid of the paperwork and Chris at once for good. As they face each other for the first time since their divorce nine months ago things unravel in a way that they didn’t expect.
Stuck in Transit explores the loneliness of existence along with themes of brutality and repressed emotions. It is a devised drama set in a high societal house in London. The new play by Mayuresh Mishra intertwines drama with surrealism & real life news incidents.
The cast includes Biz Lyon, who has studied at The Juilliard School & East15 Acting School and has been successfully performing her show Midnight in Nashville in the UK. Mark Parsons, who has studied with the Actors Studio, is rehearsing his upcoming new play Ten First Dates. Pietro Cannizzaro who also studied at East15 & trained in Paris at the Conservatoire Jacques Ibert with a background in physical comedy, mask work and puppetry.
