Cornish Writer and Director Solomon Bowden presents his first production outside of Cornwall, an intimate, confronting production, both blackly comic and deeply intense, The Future is a playful and harrowing plunge into the horrors of unconditional love.
CAST & CREATIVES
Solomon Bowden is a writer and director from Cornwall. His first play PRIMATES premiered at The Wren & Raven in Penzance, transferring to The Poly in Falmouth in April. His most recent film Prince of Tears released in 2025 starring Richard Strange and Mary Woodvine, his next film Sundog will shoot next year. His theatre series Kicks Like a Mule has featured performances from Mary Woodvine, Danny Webb, Susan Penhaligon, Nigel Fairs, Tim Cartwright, and Jenny Adams.
Nigel Fairs trained at Bretton Hall and has since worked extensively as an actor and writer in theatre (at The National, West End, regional theatre and touring), film and television.
Jenny Adams trained at the Hub Theatre School, The National Youth Theatre and Birmingham School of Dramatic Art. After working in community theatre in The South West, she is delighted to return to the London Fringe with The Future.
