The Mourning After is a drama with dark comedy that follows estranged siblings Darren (Dean Alex-McCullough) and Olivia (Aishling Jones) as they return to their childhood home on the day before their mother’s funeral. Forced into an unexpected reunion beneath the weight of grief, the night becomes a battleground for the two siblings.
Within the walls of the house that they grew up in, long-buried wounds resurface, personal truths are laid bare, and family secrets begin to unravel. As the hours tick toward morning, both siblings must confront not only each other but the past they’ve spent years trying to escape.
