Coming straight from the North West, this football comedy is ready to bring the age-old rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester to London audiences.
Set against the backdrop of the Europa League clash at Old Trafford in 2016, the story unfolds inside a police station cell, where two young men — Terry, a passionate Manchester United supporter, and Liam, a devoted Liverpool fan — find themselves detained for unpaid fines on their way to the match. With kick-off looming, Desk Sergeant Frank makes the pragmatic decision to place them in the same cell.

Confined within a six-foot cell as one of football’s fiercest rivalries plays out just down the road, tensions quickly rise. Chants are sung, insults are traded and old rivalries come to the surface. But as the match progresses, the pair’s hostility gradually gives way to candid conversations about family, life, identity and what it really means to come from two cities divided by football but connected by far more than either would like to admit.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Frank is desperate to get the pair processed and out of his station, with an urgent personal matter of his own adding to the chaos.
